What the quiz collects

Your answers, how far along your pregnancy is, your first name, email and, if you give it, your WhatsApp number. The quiz also records the page you came from and the kind of device you used, so BirthSafe can see how people find the quiz.

Your answers and pregnancy stage are health information under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. They are only stored with your explicit consent and are encrypted.

How it is used

To show and send your results, to send the follow-up tips you agreed to, and, if you join Birth Without Wahala, to get you started. BirthSafe never shares your answers with advertisers. Analytics tools only see that a page was visited, never your answers or results.

Who helps run it

The quiz runs on Cloudflare. Emails are sent by Brevo, WhatsApp messages through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform and text messages through Termii. Some of these services process data outside Nigeria.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails with the link in any email, and stop WhatsApp messages by replying STOP. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time, and you can withdraw your consent. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Delete my data

Email BirthSafe from the address you used for the quiz and ask for your data to be deleted. It will be removed within 30 days.
